  • Destination

    South Africa

South Africa beckons with an irresistible mosaic of landscapes, from the rolling vineyards of the Cape Winelands to the majestic wilderness of Kruger National Park. It’s a land where you can watch the sunrise from the summit of Table Mountain and feel the spray of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans converging at Cape Point. Vibrant cities like Cape Town and Johannesburg offer a dynamic blend of cultures, cuisines, and history, while the coastline offers serene beaches and thrilling surf spots. South Africa is not just a destination; it’s a vibrant tapestry of experiences waiting to captivate your senses and leave you with unforgettable memories.

    Namibia

Namibia is a realm of contrast and natural wonder, from the stark beauty of the Namib Desert, with its towering dunes and star-studded skies, to the wildlife-rich Etosha National Park. It offers a unique blend of adventure and tranquility, where the ancient rock art at Twyfelfontein speaks of early human history and the Fish River Canyon echoes the grandeur of nature’s artistry. The coastal town of Swakopmund presents a gateway to adrenaline activities, while the tranquility of the Caprivi Strip offers lush waterways and abundant birdlife. Namibia is an invitation to explore the less trodden path, where every horizon is a promise of a new discovery.

    Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a treasure trove of wonders, boasting the legendary Victoria Falls, one of the Earth’s greatest spectacles, with thundering waters and rainbows arcing through the mist. Beyond the falls, the country unfolds into a safari paradise, home to Hwange National Park where elephants roam and the Big Five call home. Zimbabwe’s rich heritage is etched into the ancient city of Great Zimbabwe, telling tales of past civilizations. The warm spirit of the Zimbabwean people, their art, music, and dance, adds a rich layer of cultural experience. Zimbabwe’s diverse landscapes, wildlife, and cultural heritage make it an enchanting destination for any traveler.

    Climate

The climate will vary in October and November across South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, depending on where you are and at what time during those months. In South Africa, expect October to be warm and pleasant, with rainfall and temperatures increasing into November as summer is just around the corner. The coastal regions tend to be milder than the interior, and there can be a significant variation in temperature from day to night. The Kruger National Park and the northern regions will be hot and could be humid, making for excellent safari conditions as animals are drawn to water sources.

Very convenient. Book everything together.

Booking through Events travel gave us the opportunity to purchase Australian Open tennis tickets prior to the general ticket sales. They gave us an extensive list of hotels to choose from. We booked tickets at Rod Laver arena which we were very happy with. We hope to use Events Travel again.
