Suzuka Circuit

On race day, travel by coach from Kyoto to Suzuka, where you’ll enjoy premium reserved seats on Main Straight with 2-Day Grandstand V1 Tickets.     The default currency for this event is AUD ($).

    Payment requirements and dates

    A deposit of 25% is due to confirm your booking, plus any ticket upgrades and extras*.

    The balance of 75% is due by 23 December 2024**.

    *If your booking includes extra travel services, different payment terms may apply to be confirmed on quoting (e.g. flight tickets require full payment to confirm while car rental can be paid on pick-up).
    ** Bookings made after the balance due date will require full payment to confirm, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    How to pay in other currencies and fees

    Invoices can be paid in AUD, USD, GBP, EUR or NZD. If you elect to pay your invoice in a different currency to the event default currency, your invoice will be converted at the best available daily mid-market rate.

  • Day 1 (Tue, 1 Apr) — Tokyo
    Afternoon
    Welcome to Tokyo, Japan's vibrant capital.

    If you are arriving today, depending on your arrival time, you can catch the train, the hotel airport shuttle or private transfers can be arranged (optional extra) with a view to arrive to the hotel for check-in from 15:00.

    Your Tour Manager and Local Guide will help co-ordinate your arrival to be as seamless as possible.

    Once checked in, unpack and explore the hotel and area, where we will be staying for the next 3 nights. Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower is located in Chiyoda, just a 5-minute walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station and 1 km from the walls of the Imperial Palace where you could take a walk or go for a jog. The hotel also offers an expansive 400-year-old Japanese Garden, outdoor pool and plenty of amenities.

    After enjoying your first hotel breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Tokyo by coach, visiting these iconic destinations:

    In the afternoon, we return to the hotel to relax and unwind.

    We also enjoy a group lunch today.

  • Day 4 (Fri, 4 Apr) — Kyoto
    Morning
    Enjoy breakfast before we check-out this morning, bound for Kyoto.

    The luggage service will take our bags to the hotel, while we travel light with a day bag or nothing at all if you prefer. We enjoy a coach transfer to Tokyo Station where we take a JR Super Express train to Kyoto, a journey of around 30 minutes.

    On arrival to Kyoto Station we walk a short distance to our hotel for the next 5 nights, The Thousand Kyoto. This is a highlight hotel of the tour. The Thousand Kyoto is a modern hotel, built in 2019, offering a blend of Japanese minimalism with a focus on wellness and elegance. The central location near the station is ideal for exploring Kyoto by train, where you can travel to key sights including shrines, museums, temples, gardens and food streets, along the banks of the Kamo River.

    Evening
    Enjoy breakfast before we check out this morning, heading to Kyoto.

    Our luggage will be sent ahead to the hotel, allowing us to travel light with just a day bag, or nothing at all if you prefer. We’ll take a coach to Tokyo Station, where we board the JR Super Express train to Kyoto (Bullet Train or Shinkansen), a journey of approximately 2 hours.

    Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, we’ll take a short walk to our hotel, The Thousand Kyoto. A highlight of the tour, this modern hotel, built in 2019, combines Japanese minimalism with an emphasis on wellness and elegance. Its central location near the station makes it the perfect base for exploring Kyoto, with easy access to shrines, temples, gardens, museums, and vibrant food streets along the Kamo River.

  • Day 5 (Sat, 5 Apr) — Suzuka
    All day
    After breakfast, we head by coach to Suzuka Circuit for an exciting day at the FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2025.

    Your tour includes 2-Day Grandstand V1 Tickets, offering reserved seats in a prime location on the Main Straight. Should you wish to customise your race experience, you can opt to downgrade or upgrade your tickets to different seating locations, hospitality options, or even an experience package.

    The on-track action kicks off around 10:20 with the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan Qualifying Session. Formula 1 Practice 3 follows from 11:30 to 12:30, and the Qualifying Session runs from 15:00 to 16:00.

    After qualifying, we return to Kyoto, where you can unwind at the hotel or enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Day 6 (Sun, 6 Apr) — Race Day
    All day
    Today follows a similar schedule to yesterday as we travel by coach to Suzuka Circuit for the highlight of the weekend: the main race of the FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2025. Ticket holders also have complimentary access to Suzuka Circuit Amusement Park, which could be a fun option to explore in the morning.

    The Porsche Carrera Cup Japan Race begins at 11:05, followed by the Driver's Parade at 12:00. The main event, the Grand Prix, begins at 14:00.

    After the thrilling race, we return to Kyoto to unwind at the hotel or enjoy a meal at a local restaurant.

  • Day 7 (Mon, 7 Apr) — Arashiyama

    After breakfast, we depart by coach for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kyoto, visiting some of the city’s most iconic landmarks:

    The luggage service will take our bags to Tokyo, while we travel light with an overnight bag. We take a JR Super Express train to Hiroshima (Bullet Train or Shinkansen), a journey of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

    On arrival to Hiroshima Station we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Hiroshima by coach, visiting:

    - Peace Memorial Park - Peace Memorial Museum - Atomic Bomb Dome

    Hiroshima was the site of the first atomic bomb used in warfare on August 6, 1945, leading to massive destruction and the deaths of tens of thousands, ultimately contributing to the end of World War II. Today, Hiroshima stands as a symbol of peace and resilience, with landmarks like the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome serving as reminders of the city's tragic past and its commitment to a nuclear-free world.

    After the tour we are dropped at our hotel for tonight, Hotel Granvia Hiroshima. This hotel offers a comfortable stay with Western-style rooms, providing a local touch as we're outside the major cities of Kyoto and Tokyo.

    We take a JR Super Express train to Tokyo (Bullet Train or Shinkansen), a journey of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

    On arrival to Tokyo Station we are transferred by coach back to Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower where we stayed 6 nights ago.

    This evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure, and for your final night in Tokyo, we recommend venturing out to explore something new.

    Whether you choose to visit a lively karaoke bar, stroll through a bustling food alley, or dine at a vibrant restaurant, Tokyo offers something for everyone. By now, you'll have developed a taste for delicious Japanese cuisine—perhaps Yakitori, Okonomiyaki, ramen, sushi, udon, or takoyaki—or maybe you're craving something Western. Soak in the atmosphere and reflect on the incredible experiences you've had in Japan with newfound friends.

    Otherwise, enjoy a final breakfast before we check out and prepare for the next leg of your journey.
