Lawn Stand is uncovered in the first tier of the grandstand opposite the Winning Post, while Hill Stand is covered and in the second tier (both pictured). While Hill Stand does have a roof it also has open sides and an open front, and is therefore still subject to weather. If you would like to be completely out of the weather, please consider upgrading to a hospitality suite which has both indoor and outdoor seating.

Escape the city to visit the coastal winery region of the Mornington Peninsula. Departing from two hotels in the CBD at approximately 08:15/08:30, your luxury coach and professional driver will take you out of Melbourne to the south east, visiting the scenic lookout of Arthurs Seat, with expansive views across Port Phillip Bay back to the city. Then it’s onto the charming town of Flinders, first settled by George Bass and friend Matthew Flinders in 1954, where you’ll have time to explore the galleries, shops, cafes and visit hilltop overlooking Flinders Pier, Phillip Island and Seal Rock. Following, you’ll be treated to a wine tasting and two course lunch (drinks with lunch on own account) at a fabulous and renowned local winery. After you’ve tried the local varietals and enjoyed a leisurely lunch, it’s back to Melbourne to be dropped off at the CBD hotels at an estimated time of 17:00-17:30.
