From 55 national teams who entered the European Qualifiers, only the top 24 teams will play in the Euro 2021 tournament. The competition starts with six groups, with the top two in each group progressing to the next stage and the fourth-placed team eliminated from the tournament. The four highest-ranking teams who placed third will also make it through to the next round. The next round is a knockout round — only winners will continue competing.
Host nation teams will play their three-stage matches at home, and the semi-finals and final will be held for the second time in Euro history at Wembley Stadium in London, as it has the largest capacity of all stadiums in the competition.
If you’ve dreamt of experiencing a European summer and love watching incredible soccer, then this is the perfect time to make that dream happen. Soccer is the national sport of Europe and fans are passionate — you can expect an electric atmosphere across Europe in mid-2021!

Europe has an unimaginable amount of attractions to explore from canals in Venice, imperial palaces in Russia, Cathedrals in France and parliamentary buildings in England. It is home of the rugged Scottish highlands, vine-lined valleys of Bordeaux, pebbled beaches of the French Riviera and snow-capped Alps of Switzerland. Fill your days eating and drinking local cuisines, exploring historical sites, learning different cultures and uncovering hidden treasures. It is the ultimate host for your Euro 2021 experience.
It is summer in June and July in the northern hemisphere, but temperatures can vary greatly from country-to-country. In Glasgow, you can expect highs of 17C while in Spain the average high is 25C. Plan ahead and be sure to pack sun protection. While you’re there, the BBC will have a comprehensive weather report for European countries.

Events Travel’s COVID-19 Global Pandemic Statement
In these extraordinary times, we hope you are staying safe and well.
We are optimistic about travel opening up domestically in the next few months within Australia and travel to New Zealand permitted in September. After this, we expect travel to open within the Asia-Pacific region and globally by early 2021.
As such, our full range of packages, tours and services are now on sale for events taking place after 8 October 2020. In addition, events taking place in 2021 and 2022 are now on sale (such as The 150th Open Championship).
All events are pending Government travel restrictions, as well as general health and safety notices published by DFAT Smartraveller. If an event is cancelled, postponed or spectator free due to COVID-19, customers can choose to use their booking payments as credit to the rescheduled event or receive a full refund less a booking fee. This booking fee varies by event. Full details are available within our Booking Terms and Conditions.
We hope that this new policy provides you with reassurance and confidence when booking your sports travel experience with Events Travel.
If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact any of our team, who look forward to speaking with you soon.
Stay safe and well,
