The Adelaide 500 (formerly Clipsal 500) is one of Supercars premier events with annual attendances of over 250,000 fans from around Australia and overseas. South Australia’s biggest event is action-packed with multiple support categories, activities, dining facilities and huge headline entertainment all weekend. For 2018, Robbie Williams was the main act to celebrate 20 years of the Adelaide 500. The 2019 act will be announced when packages go on sale.
The race takes place on the famed Adelaide Street Circuit, which is designed for spectating with many great vantage points and grandstand options available where you can watch the spills and thrills all weekend. You’ll need to be there with us in 2019 to watch Shane van Gisbergen defend his Adelaide 500 crown. Adelaide is also a fantastic city to visit with plenty to see and do, including excellent destinations for wine touring and coastal getaways before or after your Adelaide 500 experience.

The Adelaide 500 is a 250km Supercars race held annually in March. It was first held in 1999, with 2018 race being the 20th anniversary. Previously called the Clipsal 500, the new official name is the Adelaide 500, named after the two 250km races held over the weekend and multiple other support categories.
