Sydney is the fourth Australian city to host a round of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series since 2000 and it’s good to have the popular Rugby Sevens in New South Wales! Rugby Sevens has never been more popular with the recent inclusion in the Olympics and the famous Hong Kong Sevens lifting the profile dramatically over the last few years. Combine this with super star players (think Sonny Bill Williams and others), packed stadiums and fast matches — Sydney’s Rugby Sevens tournament is an action packed weekend you can’t miss.
Allianz Stadium plays host to 45,500 enigmatic fans for 3 days of Rugby Sevens where 7-player teams from around the globe go head to head during two seven-minute halves in a round robin format to decide the eventual winner. - Availability is subject to change at any time.
- There are no refunds for unused services and full cancellation applies.
- Pricing is per person in Australian Dollars.
- A confirmation letter and invoice will be sent on booking outlining your Package inclusions.
- Names of all travellers must be provided as per drivers licence or passport.
- All payments are non-refundable. We recommend Travel Insurance and can provide you with policies at 15% off with CHI and QBE. Ask a travel consultant today for help choosing the right policy for you or find out more here. If you have your own Policy or wish to use a financial institutions policy, please ensure the policy covers your needs.
- Amendment fees apply.
- Payment methods include: Deposit deposit or credit card payments. Fees apply for Visa and MasterCard 2% and American Express 3.3%.
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within 3 working days of issuing your confirmation letter and invoice along with any ticket upgrades.
- The balance is due by 6 January 2017 unless stated otherwise.
After your request is received we will issue a confirmation letter/quote and invoice via email with more information.
Add on services may be subject to different payment terms for set Packages. These terms will be advised during the confirmation and booking process.

Can I buy Sydney Sevens Tickets by themselves?
No, all our Sydney Sevens Tickets include a minimum 1 night accommodation and 1-day ticket. Individual Ticket sales will be available through authorised ticket resellers in due course. We only sell Packages/Hospitality as an Official Travel Agent authorised by Australian Rugby.
Where do I get my tickets and documents?
Customers will receive Tickets within their Travel Documentation, which includes information to help you redeem the services booked, plus other useful event information. Travel Documentation will be sent by registered mail/courier approximately 2 weeks before you travel, so you will have the most up to date travel information in hand before you leave.
How do you allocate your tickets?
We allocate our tickets in booking date order, so the earlier you book, the better your seats from within our allocation of reserved seats. Note that in Packages; General Admission is included be default and these are unreserved Tickets. Upgrades are available at anytime until sold out.
Do you have an event schedule?
The event schedule will be posted here in due course.
What dates is the 2017 Sydney 7's
Dates have been confirmed as 3-5 February, 2017. With the HSBC Ladies Rugby Sevens Tournament on the 3rd and Mens on the 4th and 5th.
What Hospitality Packages are available?

I have a group, can you help?
We are group travel experts and have access to wholesale airfares, group rates, ticket blocks and other services which must be customised on an ad hoc basis for all groups. Simply contact a travel consultant to begin organising a custom built group Travel Package. Group Packages are available for companies, independent travel groups, schools, clubs and as incentives.
Can I book flights with you?
We are an IATA Agency and issue our own flight tickets in-house. This means we have access to the best available fares and can book/quote your airfares at anytime, direct. Please ask us for a quote and we’ll happily add flights to your Sydney 7’s Package.

Can I extend my stay for extra nights?
Of course. Simply let us know which nights you want to stay and we can add the nights onto your base Package. If you’re customising a Package, we can provide complete pricing for you, ask us today.

Yes. Events Worldwide Travel have been appointed an Official Travel Agent for the 2017 HSBC Sydney 7’s.
Only authorised agents may sell Official Travel Packages and Tickets to this event.

Can I book a hotel not on your list?
We welcome customisations to any packages if it helps you get exactly what you want. Requesting a different hotel will change the price we can offer for that Package and all requested hotels are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Do I need Travel Insurance?
We recommend purchasing Travel Insurance for every trip, big or small. Travel Insurance is there to cover you when the unexpected happens and things out of your control risk ruining your trip! We have policies through QBE and CHI available with a 15% rebate when booking with your Package.

How do I pay for my Package?
We accept credit cards (AMEX, VISA and MasterCard), direct bank transfers (EFT), cheque or you can pay online directly with your credit card. Fees may apply for credit cards.
Full payment information will be available with your confirmation letter and invoice.
