Despite being one of the sunniest months, rainfall is still common, reflecting the region’s unpredictable weather patterns. Days are long, with up to 18 hours of daylight around the summer solstice.     A deposit of 25% is due to confirm your booking, plus any ticket upgrades and extras*.

    A stage payment of 25% is due by 30 June 2024.

    The balance of 50% is due by 15 April 2025**.

    *If your booking includes extra travel services, different payment terms may apply to be confirmed on quoting (e.g. flight tickets require full payment to confirm while car rental can be paid on pick-up).
    ** Bookings made after the balance due date will require full payment to confirm, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Where is the The 154th Open in 2026?

    The 154th Open will be held at Royal Birkdale in 2026.

    Royal Birkdale is located in Southport, Merseyside, England, approximately 60 minutes drive from Manchester and 35 minutes drive from Liverpool. Royal Birkdale was established in 1889 and extensively redesigned in 1922 to create the current layout, which winds its way through the sand dunes towering over each of the fairways. Since first hosting The Open in 1954, the course has been the most regular venue for the Championship other than St Andrews. Peter Thomson won his first and final Open at Royal Birkdale.

  • How can I buy The Open 2025 tickets?

    There are two ways to buy The Open 2025 Tickets:

    1. The first way is to try your luck in the General Public Ticket Ballot, which will open in July 2024.
    2. The second way is to book an official travel package, including tickets, from an Authorised Provider, such as Events Travel. We are authorised to sell official travel packages and have an allocation of guaranteed tickets across the entire week, both general admission and hospitality. Belfast is a stepping stone to explore North Ireland, Ireland and the UK.

    We have a range of packages staying in Belfast with coach transport to/from Royal Portrush.

    Self-Drive Packages

    If you’re bringing your own car or renting a car, you may want the flexibility to come and go from The Open as you please. Our self-drive packages offer freedom and independence to enjoy The Open on your own schedule.
