Events Travel is a privately held family business, 100% Australian owned and operated since 1993.

The Australian Travel Industry was deregulated in 2014 and the long-standing Travel Compensation Fund was shutdown. You will still see companies displaying out of date TCF numbers and invalid travel agency license numbers. The deregulation has opened the floodgates for unethical practices, casting a shadow over the entire travel industry.
