Head to the course early for the first tee times, stay late through the evening play, come and go entirely at your leisure. Accommodation is in modern apartment-style buildings with double ensuite bedrooms arranged around shared lounges, a relaxed and social setup well suited to couples, groups of friends and golf trips. With buffet breakfast and dinner included daily and an onsite bar, games area and pool tables, the restaurant becomes the natural place to relive the day’s play with fellow fans before doing it all again tomorrow.
During Championship week, St Andrews itself is part of the event. The town’s medieval streets fill with fans from around the world, from the shops and pubs of Market Street to the British Golf Museum and the West Sands beach running alongside the links — the whole town lives the Championship, and you’re staying in the middle of it. At the course, your Ticket Plus ticket brings full course access plus entry to Links, the private area near the 8th hole with seating, viewing platforms around the course, a daily food voucher and a private bar to return to between holes away from the general public areas.

Ticket Plus is The Open’s premium daily ticket, combining full course access with entry to Links, a private area near the 8th hole of the Old Course with a relaxed festival atmosphere. Walk the course, watch from dedicated standing platforms and complimentary grandstands, then return to base to refuel whenever you like.
