The Men’s Rugby World Cup is the defining event of the rugby calendar, and Rugby World Cup 2027 is the one I’ve been looking forward to for years. After more than three decades sending fans around the world for the Rugby World Cup — from South Africa in 1995, our first official campaign, through Japan 2019 and France 2023 — welcoming the tournament back to Australian shores for the first time in 25 years feels like a homecoming, both for our company and for the game itself. Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 is our ninth official Rugby World Cup, and the most personal yet.
What makes Rugby World Cup 2027 work is the combination: world-class rugby across seven host cities and eight iconic stadiums, a country built for travel, and a tournament that finally rewards fans who want to follow their team across multiple matches, cities and landscapes. Over seven weeks, supporters will move between Sydney’s harbour, Melbourne’s laneways, Brisbane’s river city, Perth’s wide skies, Adelaide’s wine country, the surf coast at Newcastle and the tropical north at Townsville. Getting the most out of it takes the right Rugby World Cup 2027 travel package — accommodation in the right neighbourhood, the right tickets for the matches that matter to you, and a team on the ground who knows both the tournament and the country. That’s the standard we set.
Events Travel has been an Official Travel Agent for the Rugby World Cup since 1995, with deep partnerships across the global game including Hong Kong China Rugby since 1997, Rugby Australia, the Singapore Sevens and the British & Irish Lions. Whether you’re booking Rugby World Cup 2027 tickets, official Rugby World Cup 2027 hospitality, a small group tour or a fully curated multi-city Rugby World Cup package, we’ve built our reputation on getting the details right — for travellers joining us for their first Rugby World Cup and for those returning for their ninth.
Now it’s your turn. I can’t wait to welcome you home for Rugby World Cup 2027.

Director, Events Travel

Australia is the ideal backdrop for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027. A vast, varied and extraordinarily liveable country, Australia combines world-class cities with iconic coastlines, ancient landscapes, renowned food and wine regions and a deep sporting culture, making it one of the most rewarding destinations in the world to travel through. Each of the seven Rugby World Cup 2027 host cities has its own character — Sydney’s harbour, beaches and global energy; Melbourne’s laneways, dining and arts; Brisbane’s relaxed riverside warmth; Perth’s wide skies and Indian Ocean coastline; Adelaide’s wine country and festival culture; the surf coast and working harbour of Newcastle; and the tropical north of Townsville, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
Rugby World Cup 2027 is built to be travelled. Across seven weeks of competition, fans can follow a single team between cities, base themselves in a marquee city for a long weekend, or build a full multi-city Rugby World Cup itinerary. Domestic flights connect the host cities efficiently, and English, modern infrastructure and a tourism industry experienced in welcoming international travellers make moving around the country effortless. Between matches, guests move easily from the rugby to the Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach, the Great Ocean Road and Yarra Valley from Melbourne, the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef from Queensland, the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale from Adelaide, and Margaret River from Perth. October and November is Australia at its most inviting — long days, mild weather and a country fully alive with the energy of the Rugby World Cup.
