The 152nd Open Championship is heading back to Royal Troon in 2024. The Old Course at Royal Troon was founded in 1878 and re-designed by five-time Champion Golfer James Braid ahead of its first Open in 1923. The 2024 edition will be only the 10th Open Championship to be held at Royal Troon and will be an exciting opportunity to watch golf, travel and explore Glasgow, Scotland, and the UK.Read moreRead less
The traditional out-and-back course, akin to the Old Course at St Andrews, starts off gently, winding through undulating dunes, giving players and spectators a true taste of classic links golf and Scotland’s beautiful coastline. The back nine is as tough as any in the world, exposed to wind, glare, and challenging placements. The Old Course will test even links experts, while giving fans exemplary viewing and great flat course access. The most recent Open here, in 2016, saw Henrik Stenson prevail in a stunning duel with Phil Mickelson.
