AO Premium Experiences — AO Reserve

See packages for more information about AO Reserve — the all-new hospitality program for AO 2025.

  • Good to know

    • If you want to see your favourite players up close and personal then we recommend a first week package. This is a great option to enjoy the best of Melbourne Park, where seeded and non-seeded players can be seen on outer courts and warm-up courts, accessible with a Grounds Pass or reserved ticket on Rod Laver Arena or Margaret Court Arena.
    • Second week packages are where you’ll see the biggest matches and a Rod Laver Arena ticket is a must.
    • If you have a Day Session ticket (on RLA or MCA), after the session concludes you can remain in Melbourne Park to enjoy the evening festivities and action on the outer courts. If you choose a reserved ticket for the Night Session, you can only arrive after ~5:00 pm, so if you want to explore Melbourne Park by day, add a Grounds Pass to your package. Grounds Passes give you access to Melbourne Park, outer courts and warm-up courts. Reserved tickets (whether RLA or MCA) also give you access to Melbourne Park as well as a reserved seat in the particular arena per session. Most fans choose Rod Laver Arena Tickets where the biggest matches take place.
    • If you’re looking for an extra level of experience at Australian Open, or if you’re entertaining guests, you can’t go past AO Premium Experiences — AO Reserve. These are hospitality packages including Lower Bowl tickets on Rod Laver Arena, plus gourmet dining experiences, special venues and more. Ask our team for more information or a quote.
    • If you’re travelling with children, you can enjoy discounted Grounds Passes and reserved tickets. Children aged 0-3 are free of charge if they sit on your lap. Children aged 3-11 are discounted. Children aged 12-18 are considered adults. There are plenty of activities for children of all ages, including a day care and movie theatre.
  • Destination

    Melbourne

Melbourne is a dynamic, cosmopolitan city that combines cutting-edge style with a relaxed and carefree spirit. Celebrated for its creative arts, world-class dining, stunning galleries, cozy cafes, boutique shops, and spectacular sports events, the city offers a wealth of experiences. In the heart of the CBD, explore hidden laneways filled with vibrant street art, and just to the north, discover bohemian shopping strips and some of the finest Italian cuisine outside Italy. A short stroll or complimentary tram ride from the CBD takes you to the world-renowned MCG and Melbourne Park, home of the Australian Open. For the intrepid traveller, Melbourne is a treasure trove of opportunities: within just an hour or two, you can find enchanting wineries, majestic National Parks, charming alpine towns, and breathtaking coastal drives. With its myriad offerings, Melbourne is the ideal backdrop for your dream Grand Slam adventure.

    Climate

January marks summer in Melbourne with typical highs of 26ÂşC and lows of 19ÂşC, accompanied by minimal rainfall and predominantly sunny days. For comfort, we suggest opting for shaded seating during day sessions and lower or sideline seats for the night sessions. On particularly hot days, Rod Laver Arena’s roof may be closed for air-conditioned relief, ensuring an uninterrupted and enjoyable summer tennis experience.

Things to do in Melbourne

Frequently asked questions

  • When is Australian Open 2025?

Australian Open 2025 will start on Sunday, 12 January 2025 and finish Sunday, 26 January 2025. It’s a two week long tournament.

  • Where is Australian Open 2025?

Australian Open 2025 will be held at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia’s sporting capital. Melbourne Park is home to three main courts: Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena and John Cain Arena. Plus there are numerous outer courts, warm-up courts and other fantastic tennis and entertainment facilities.

  • When do Australian Open 2025 tickets and packages go on sale?

Australian Open 2025 tickets will go on sale to the General Public in late 2025 (generally in October). Our official Australian Open 2025 Packages are on sale now and include access to some of the best ticket categories across all sessions and are the best way to secure access to the 2025 Australian Open before the General Public ticket sales period.

  • How can I buy Australian Open 2025 tickets?

There are two ways to buy official Australian Open 2025 tickets:

    1. The first way is to wait for the General Public ticket sales period, which usually occurs in October, a few months prior. However availability will be limited for the best ticket categories and for groups/multiple sessions.
    2. The second way is to book an official travel package, these are sold by Official Travel Agents, such as Events Travel, and include official tickets in all categories to all sessions with accommodation, AO Premium Experiences and extra travel services. An official travel package is the best way to secure early access to the Australian Open and to secure your desired ticket categories and sessions. If you’re planning an international trip, or a trip interstate we recommend to book an official travel package early. Australian Open 2025 packages are on sale now.
  • What types of Australian Open 2025 packages are available?

Our Australian Open 2025 Packages are on sale now.

Choose from set packages during the first week, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

Or create a customised package with our team, to any stage of the tournament with exactly what you need and nothing you don’t.

Whether you’re after a short package to get a taste of AO or you want to stay a while and immerse yourself in the action, we’ve got a package for you.

  • Are you an official partner of Australian Open?

Yes, Events Travel is the longest running Official Travel Agent for Australian Open since 1997. We first started helping fans travel to Australian Open in 1994.

  • Do I need a Grounds Pass if I have a Rod Laver Arena ticket?

Generally no, however you may want both, allow us to explain.

A Grounds Pass gets you into Melbourne Park, and allows you to explore the precinct, including outer courts, warm-up courts, food and drink outlets, brand activations, entertainment stages, John Cain Arena, Kia Arena and other arenas. If you have a Grounds Pass, you cannot enter Rod Laver Arena (RLA) or Margaret Court Arena (MCA), as these two arenas require a reserved seat ticket.

If you have a RLA or MCA Ticket, this will also get you into Melbourne Park and then into your reserved seat in either arena. However, if you have a Night Session ticket, you cannot enter until 5 pm (earlier for twilight sessions), so if you did want to go earlier in the day to enjoy more tennis, you would need a Grounds Pass during the day, then your Night Session ticket on RLA or MCA would begin from 5 pm (you don’t need to leave/re-enter).

If you have an RLA or MCA Ticket for the Day Session, once the session finishes you will be required to leave the arena, however you don’t need to leave Melbourne Park and you can stay for the remainder of the night and enjoy the attractions, outer-courts and plenty of things to see, do and taste!
