What ticket categories are available?
All packages come with Lawn Stand tickets by default. From there you can upgrade to Hill Stand, which is covered, or to a hospitality venue. See package pages or brochure for a list of hospitality upgrades and pricing.
Can I buy tickets by themselves?
No. As an Official Tourism Operator, we are licensed to sell official travel packages inclusive of tickets and other travel services, such as accommodation, flights, transport and more.
Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?
VRC is required to follow the requirements of the State Government of Victoria, which means that spectators will need to be vaccinated to attend the event and will be required to show a valid vaccination certificate to enter Flemington Racecourse. This mandate is subject to change at anytime.
What are your COVID-19 Guarantees?
Our COVID-19 Guarantees cover you if the event is cancelled, postponed or held without spectators. If either circumstance arises, you’ll get a full refund (less a fixed nominal admin fee) or you can postpone your trip or hold monies paid in credit to put towards a future booking with Events Travel.

Are you official?
Yes. We are a proud Official Tourism Operator, appointed by the Victorian Racing Club (VRC). This is a position we have held for many years.
Can I change my booking once confirmed?
Once you confirm your booking, fundamental changes may not be possible, although this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Changes to ticketing, such as substituting or removing tickets, may not be possible, but items like extra nights, flights and other services can be added to an existing booking at any time, as well as adding additional customers to your booking.
What travel services do you offer?
As a full service travel company we offer a range of travel services including flights (ticketed in-house), accommodation, transport, sightseeing experiences, multi-day tours and travel insurance.
Can I add extra nights?
Yes, we have contracted rates with our featured hotels either side of the event. Add extra nights with us to ensure you get the best rate and stay in the same room throughout your stay. We also have room upgrades, other properties and can provide accommodation in other destinations during your trip.
What do you offer companies and corporates?
If you’re organising a corporate group all our packages can be purchased. And if you require a Customised Package, that can be arranged to meet your needs. Services for corporate groups include group seating, group airfares, conference rooms, premium coach transport, branding and more. You will also be assigned a dedicated groups specialist to ensure you have the best possible experience.

What’s the difference between a package and tour?
Packages are designed for independent travellers and typically include accommodation, event tickets and other travel services. If you book a package, you may not see other Events Travel customers or Events Travel staff during your trip. For some packages and events there may be tour desks, group transport, functions or ticket collection centres where you’ll see the Events Travel Onsite Team.
Tours on the other hand are fully escorted by Events Travel Staff (including a Tour Manager, local guides, professional drivers etc.) Our escorted tours are a full service and in-depth experience with like-minded people, typically in a small group of 20-40. Tours typically include the best event tickets, exclusive event experiences, luxury accommodation, premium transport, gourmet meals, tickets to attractions, tour merchandise and more. Our tours are often themed and include local experiences, culinary tastings and things you might not ordinarily do or get access to without being part of a group.
