To arrive earlier and enjoy Melbourne Park during the day, you will need a Grounds Pass in addition to your night session ticket. Our team will ensure you do not purchase duplicate access.
Seat comfort during day sessions depends significantly on sun exposure and whether the roof is closed. The roof is typically closed during extreme heat or rain, but remains open for most sessions.
When the roof is open, baseline seats offer the most reliable shade throughout the day. Sideline seats, particularly on the eastern side, receive direct sun and can become hot during day sessions.
During night sessions, most seats are comfortable, though eastern sideline seats may receive some sun early in the session.
