The FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026 is set to be one of the most anticipated season openers in recent memory — and it’s our pleasure to invite you to our home city of Melbourne for this world-class event.

Climate

March in Melbourne offers ideal autumn conditions for outdoor events. Expect mild to warm days, typically 20°C–26°C (68°F–79°F), and cooler evenings around 12°C–16°C (54°F–61°F). Sunshine is common, with moderate humidity and the chance of light showers (40–50mm average rainfall).

Grandstands at Albert Park are generally uncovered, with the exception of selected Premium Grandstand tickets, which provide overhead cover but not full weather protection. Melbourne is famously unpredictable, so it’s best to pack for all seasons and dress in layers. Breezes around Albert Park and the bay can also be frequent, making a light jacket a smart choice for race days.

• A deposit of 40% is due to confirm your booking, plus any ticket upgrades and extras*.
• The balance of 60% is due by 1 December 2025^.

*If your booking includes extra services, alternative payment terms may apply. Specific details will be outlined during the quoting process. For example, independent flights typically require immediate full payment to confirm, while car rentals generally require payment upon vehicle pickup.
^ Bookings made after the balance due date require full payment upfront, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Your invoice will include instructions for payment via direct bank transfer (EFT) or secure online credit/debit card payment. Each invoice contains a “Pay Now” link directing you to a secure payment portal for quick and easy card payments.

F1® Grid Deal — Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the F1® Grid Deal (“Offer”) promoted by Events Travel (“we”, “our”, “us”) in connection with the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2026 (“Event”). By participating in this Offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in addition to Events Travel’s general Booking Terms and Conditions (which apply to all bookings).

1. Offer Overview

• The Offer entitles customers who book an eligible official Event travel package with Events Travel to select one (1) of the following savings options (“Primary Offer”):
• A$200 per person flight credit – redeemable towards return flights to Melbourne on any airline and any travel dates within the validity period stated below; or
• One free extra night’s accommodation – valid at the same hotel and in the same room type as the rest of the booking; or
• Free secure parking – valid for one standard vehicle for the duration of the Event (Thursday to Monday).
• In addition, customers who qualify for the Primary Offer will also receive a Bonus Offer:
• A$200 per person discount when booking any other 2026 Grand Prix package with Events Travel, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

• The Offer is only available for new bookings made directly with Events Travel for the Event.
• Each booking must include at least one package that combines event tickets and accommodation.
• Offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn, amended or extended by Events Travel at any time without prior notice.
• The Offer cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings or combined with any other promotion, discount, or voucher unless expressly authorised in writing by Events Travel.

3. Flight Credit

• The A$200 per person flight credit is valid for return flights to Melbourne (MEL) taken within seven (7) days before or after the Event dates (5–8 March 2026).
• The credit will be deducted from the total flight cost (inclusive of fares, taxes, booking fees and optional extras such as baggage, seat selection, etc.) when flights are booked through Events Travel.
• Flights must be booked and ticketed through Events Travel at the time of package booking.
• Unused portions, cancellations, or customer booked flights made outside Events Travel’s systems are not eligible for reimbursement or cash equivalents.

4. Free Extra Night

• The free extra night applies to one (1) night only—either Wednesday, 4 March 2026 (early arrival) or Monday, 10 March 2026 (late departure).
• It must be at the same property, in the same room type and rate category as the rest of the booking, and is subject to availability at the time of booking.
• If the selected room type or rate is unavailable, Events Travel may offer a comparable property or rate at its sole discretion.
• No refund or credit will be provided if the free night cannot be utilised or is declined by the customer or supplier.

5. Free Secure Parking

• The free secure parking offer is valid for one (1) standard vehicle per room for the period Thursday 5 March to Monday 9 March 2026.
• Parking will be arranged and pre-paid by Events Travel at Wilson Parking, First Parking, or another comparable secure, multi-day facility near your hotel, determined at Events Travel’s sole discretion.
• Oversized vehicles, motorbikes, and vans are not eligible.
• No refund or credit will be provided for unused parking.

6. Bonus Offer — A$200 Off Another Grand Prix

• Customers who book a qualifying Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2026 package under this Offer may receive A$200 per person off any other 2026 Grand Prix package offered by Events Travel.
• The number of eligible discounted places will match the number of passengers on the qualifying Australian Grand Prix booking (e.g., 2 passengers = 2 discounted places).
• The secondary Grand Prix booking must be made under the same lead passenger name and within the 2026 season.
• This discount cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

7. General Conditions

• All offers are valid until sold out.
• All bookings remain subject to Events Travel’s standard terms, payment schedules, supplier conditions, and cancellation policies.
• Events Travel reserves the right to vary, replace, or withdraw any offer or substitute an equivalent benefit of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control occur.
• If any dispute arises regarding eligibility or application of this Offer, Events Travel’s decision shall be final.
• The Offer is provided in good faith; however, Events Travel will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
