It’s no accident it’s been crowned the world’s best golf event since 2024.

LIV Golf Adelaide 2027 schedule of play

The full LIV Golf Adelaide 2027 schedule will be confirmed by the organisers closer to the event. The tournament traditionally runs across four days from Thursday to Sunday at Kooyonga Golf Club, with shotgun starts each day across all 54 holes of competition and live music programming running into the evening at The Watering Hole. For reference, the 2026 schedule offers a guide to the structure:

Thursday — practice and pro-am

Gates open mid-morning for practice rounds and the official pro-am, with players preparing across all 18 holes at Kooyonga Golf Club. Live entertainment begins at The Watering Hole through the afternoon and evening.

Friday — round one

Gates open from approximately 7:00am, with the opening shotgun start across both the individual and team competitions. The day builds through the afternoon, with live music programming at The Watering Hole continuing into the evening.

Saturday — round two

Gates open from approximately 7:00am, with the second round shotgun start across the field. Saturday traditionally draws the largest crowds and features headline live music acts at The Watering Hole through the afternoon and evening.

Sunday — final round

Gates open from approximately 7:00am for the final round shotgun start, building through the day to the team and individual trophy presentations on the 18th green. Closing entertainment continues at The Watering Hole through to evening.

Getting to Kooyonga Golf Club for LIV Golf Adelaide 2027

Official shuttle buses are the recommended way to reach Kooyonga Golf Club for LIV Golf Adelaide 2027. Free shuttle services run throughout each day of the tournament from designated pick-up points across the Adelaide CBD, with journey times of approximately 20 minutes to the course in Lockleys, around 8km west of the city centre. Rideshare and taxi services drop off at designated zones near the course, though expect delays and surge pricing around shotgun start times and after final groups complete play. Limited public parking is available on-site and should be pre-booked.

Destination — Adelaide

Adelaide is the perfect backdrop for LIV Golf Adelaide 2027. Compact, walkable and increasingly cosmopolitan, the South Australian capital pairs grand colonial architecture and leafy parklands with one of the country’s most exciting food, wine and small-bar scenes, making it one of Australia’s most underrated cities to visit. From the heritage Adelaide Central Market and the laneway bars of Peel and Leigh Streets to the Adelaide Oval, the Art Gallery of South Australia and the beachside village of Glenelg, the city rewards exploration at every turn — and March is festival season, with the Adelaide Festival, Fringe and WOMADelaide all overlapping with the golf.
Kooyonga Golf Club sits around 8km west of the Adelaide CBD, easily reached by free tournament shuttles, rideshare or a short drive. Between rounds, guests move seamlessly from the course to North Terrace’s museums and galleries, the riverside Adelaide Oval precinct, the Central Market, and the bars and restaurants of the East End and West End. The Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wine regions all sit within an hour’s drive, and the beaches at Glenelg and Henley are minutes from the course. March is Adelaide at its most inviting — warm days, mild evenings and a city in full festival mode.

Climate — LIV Golf Adelaide 2027

LIV Golf Adelaide is held in early autumn, when Adelaide enjoys some of its most reliable weather of the year. Average daytime temperatures range from approximately 21°C to 27°C (70°F to 81°F), with mild evenings cooling to around 14°C (57°F). Rainfall is typically low and humidity comfortable, ideal conditions for spectating across the open Kooyonga course and exploring the city between rounds. Light layers, sun protection and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Kooyonga Golf Club is an open-air course, so weather forms part of your LIV Golf Adelaide 2027 experience.
