Over 12 nights from Wednesday 23 June to Monday 5 July 2027, travel from Paris through the battlefields of the Somme and Flanders to Bruges, then take the Eurostar to London for the 2nd Test of the UK Ashes 2027 at Lord’s, the home of cricket.
Your journey begins with three nights in Paris. Meet your fellow travellers at an included Welcome Dinner, then spend a full guided day in the city with a Seine river cruise, entry to Notre-Dame Cathedral and a visit to the Liberation of Paris Museum. Friday is yours to explore Paris at your own pace.
On Saturday, your guide takes the group north to the Somme. Visit Villers-Bretonneux and the Sir John Monash Centre at the Australian National Memorial, with a three-course dinner in Amiens that evening. Stand at the Australian Corps Memorial Park at Le Hamel and the memorial at Fromelles, then cross into Belgium for the In Flanders Fields Museum and the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres. On the way to Bruges, stop at Passchendaele and Tyne Cot Cemetery, the largest Commonwealth war cemetery in the world, before a canal boat tour through the medieval city.
From Bruges, the Eurostar takes you under the Channel to London St Pancras for six nights at the Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo. That evening is the Official Ashes Function, a three-course dinner with special guests at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel. The next morning the 2nd Test begins, with reserved seats for Days 1 to 4, general admission for Day 5 and an Oyster card loaded with £30 credit to get you from Waterloo to St John’s Wood.
Along the way, enjoy daily breakfast, included group dinners in Paris and Amiens, and the services of a Tour Guide for the Paris sightseeing day and the battlefields, travelling with a small group of like-minded cricket fans.
