The Ashes has been contested between Australia and England since 1882, and an Ashes summer in England takes you across the country, ground by ground. Five Tests, four cities and six weeks of cricket, from the first morning at Trent Bridge to the last session at The Oval, with the Long Room at Lord’s in between. Every series has its twists, and you remember where you were sitting when they happened.
2027 brings something new. The Rose Bowl in Southampton hosts its first men’s Ashes Test, and the summer marks 150 years of Test cricket. The Championships, Wimbledon, The Open at St Andrews and the Formula 1 British Grand Prix fall in the same weeks, so many of our clients will create their own great British summer of sport, combining the Ashes with other major events across the UK.
We’ve taken fans to the Ashes in the UK and Australia since 1997, including as an official partner of Cricket Australia, and in 2027 as a Cricket Australia Travel Office Licensed Travel Operator. 2027 marks 30 years of Ashes travel, and we look forward to welcoming you to the UK Ashes 2027, from Day 1 to the final ball. We can’t wait.

Each six-night package includes reserved seats on Days 1 to 4 and general admission on Day 5, at no extra cost. Day 5 is played only if the match goes the distance, and on the day you choose any open seat in the general admission areas.
Seats are allocated by each ground, with stand and seat details released closer to the series and in your travel documents. Seat requests can be taken on booking but cannot be guaranteed. Seats are allocated in blocks with other Events Travel fans, so you sit among fellow supporters. Tickets are expected to be delivered digitally through each ground’s ticketing app and can be transferred by day within your group through the app.
Refunds for play lost to weather or a shortened match follow each ground’s refund policy. Where a refund applies, you receive the amount CATO receives from the ECB, less an administration fee; the package itself is not refundable. If the ECB moves a Test date, your package follows the new fixture where possible.

Very convenient. Book everything together.
Booking through Events travel gave us the opportunity to purchase Australian Open tennis tickets prior to the general ticket sales. They gave us an extensive list of hotels to choose from. We booked tickets at Rod Laver arena which we were very happy with. We hope to use Events Travel again.
