2. Monza – The Temple of Speed: The race is held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, often referred to as the “Temple of Speed.” This nickname comes from its layout, which includes long straights and high-speed corners, making it one of the fastest circuits on the F1 calendar.
3. Speed Records: Due to its high-speed nature, Monza is known for producing some of the highest speeds in F1. In 2004, Juan Pablo Montoya set the fastest lap in F1 history with an average speed of 262.242 km/h (162.950 mph).
