Frequently asked questions

  • When is the Japanese Grand Prix 2025?

The 2025 Japanese Grand Prix will start on Friday, 4 April 2025 and finish on Sunday, 6 April 2025.

  • Where is the Japanese Grand Prix 2025?

The Japanese Grand Prix is always held at Suzuka Circuit, located on Japan’s south coast. Suzuka is about 60 minutes south of Nagoya by train. From Nagoya, Osaka is 2.5 hours away and Tokyo is 4.5 hours by bullet train (Shinkansen).

  • When do Japanese Grand Prix 2025 tickets and packages go on sale?

Japanese Grand Prix 2025 Packages, including tickets and other services, are on sale now through Events Travel.

  • How can I buy Japanese Grand Prix 2025 tickets?

There are two ways to buy Japanese Grand Prix 2025 tickets:

    1. The first option is to wait for General Public ticket sales, offered by Formula 1 and Official Resellers. However, tickets can be hard to secure, often sell out quickly, and you may struggle to get your preferred seats or accommodate a group together. You might also have to wait until closer to the event to finalise your tickets.
    2. The second option is to purchase a travel package, which includes tickets, hotel accommodation, and other services. Travel packages often go on sale earlier than individual tickets and can save you time and money by bundling additional services at a fixed price in your local currency. They also allow you to book other trip essentials early, benefiting from better prices and greater availability. We also have tours, offering benefits like experienced Tour Managers, small group travel, local guides and the chance to explore incredible sights with likeminded travellers.
  • What types of Japanese Grand Prix 2025 packages are available?

For the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix we have a 4-night package staying in Nagoya, plus a 7-night package staying in Nagoya, followed by 3-nights in Tokyo and a 7-Day JR Pass to get you between the two, plus allows for other travel throughout Japan. Packages include hand-picked premium hotels with daily breakfast and premium race tickets. We also have a luxury tour which has a Tour Manager, local guide, premium hotels, experiences the race and other major sights in Japan.

  • Where should I stay for Japanese Grand Prix 2025?

We recommend staying in Nagoya for the Japanese Grand Prix, and our packages include accommodation in the city with daily train/bus transport required to get to and from Suzuka Circuit. While we often receive requests for accommodation near the circuit, we generally advise against it due to higher costs, limited options, and the traditional Japanese style of lodging (which may not be for everyone). In contrast, Nagoya offers a wider selection of Western-style hotels and more dining options to enjoy post-race. If you’re looking for a customised package, we may be able to arrange Suzuka-based accommodation upon request.

  • How do I get to Suzuka Circuit from Nagoya?

For guests on our 11 Day Luxury Race & Cherry Blossom Tour, daily transport between your Nagoya hotel and Suzuka Circuit is included.

For those choosing our 4-night or 7-night packages, which are not escorted, you’ll need to travel independently to Suzuka Circuit. We will provide detailed instructions for the Circuit Shuttle Bus and trains. On race day, the journey from Nagoya to Suzuka Circuit typically takes 40-50 minutes one way, with multiple routes and train lines available. Full travel details will be included in your documents or provided upon request.
