  • Good to know

    • Most grandstands are unreserved, allowing patrons to come and go as they please throughout the day and are unable to be reserved or held. Generally on Sunday, unreserved grandstands fill up in the morning, particularly on the 18th green, so we recommend arriving early for a good seat on the final day. Or you can enjoy the action from around the course with plenty of vantage points and viewing areas as you follow your favourite players and groups.
    • The Open Shop is very popular, we recommend buying merchandise on the first day you attend, so you can be sure to get your preferred sizes. Some sizes will sell out come Sunday.
    • If staying in Belfast, the travel time to Royal Portrush is approximately than 70 minutes via coach. On the return journey after presentation on Sunday it will likely be around 80-90 minutes, traffic dependant. We will speak to the hotels to keep the respective kitchens open and prepared for your return on Sunday.
    • Coach transport to/from The Open 2025 from our featured hotels in Belfast will be scheduled for the morning and return in the late afternoon/early evening at a sensible time to please as many people as possible. On some days it may not be possible to arrive prior to the first groups teeing off or the last groups finishing as it’s generally very early/late. Due to the distance from Belfast to Royal Portrush (~70 mins drive), we only have one coach departing each hotel. On the final day coaches will depart 30 minutes after presentation, as that is an important moment for the weekend and not to be missed. If you are someone who wants to be at The Open for 100% of the time from when gates open to gates close each day, we recommend choosing a Self-Drive Package or catching the train from Belfast to/from Portrush Station.
    • If staying at Ballygally or in Derry on a Self-Drive Package, official car park passes are included in your package and these packages are self-drive, meaning you won’t see any of our team during your trip and you’re on your own to explore Northern Ireland and travel to/from The Open. There will be other guests at your hotel if you’re looking to meet other fans heading to The Open.
    • All packages include an official Open Championship 2025 souvenir cap which will be provided onsite at your hotel. Additionally, fans will also receive a discount code to pre-purchase select merchandise from The Open Shop. Details will be sent closer to the event when the shop is ready and you can get your order sent directly to your shipping address before departure.
  • Payments

    The default currency for this event is GBP (ÂŁ).

    Payment requirements and dates

    A deposit of 25% is due to confirm your booking, plus any ticket upgrades and extras*.

    A stage payment of 25% is due by 30 June 2024.

    The balance of 50% is due by 15 April 2025**.

    *If your booking includes extra travel services, different payment terms may apply to be confirmed on quoting (e.g. flight tickets require full payment to confirm while car rental can be paid on pick-up).
    ** Bookings made after the balance due date will require full payment to confirm, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    How to make payment

    Payment instructions for direct transfers (EFT) and credit card payment links will be provided within your invoice on booking.

    How to pay in other currencies and fees

    Invoices can be paid in AUD, USD, GBP, EUR or NZD. If you elect to pay your invoice in a different currency to the event default currency, your invoice will be converted at the best available daily mid-market rate.

    If paying an invoice in AUD

    Payments via direct transfer (EFT) incur no additional fees (including no SWIFT fees or additional bank fees).

    Payments using Visa or Mastercard incur a 1.7% merchant fee. Payments using American Express incur a 1.98% merchant fee.

    If paying an invoice in USD, GBP, EUR or NZD

    Payments via direct transfer (EFT) incur no additional fees (including no SWIFT fees or additional bank fees).

    Payments using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Google Pay or Apple Pay incur a 1.98% merchant fee.
