The racing highlight is the Group 1 Oaks, the classic for three-year old fillies over 2500m. |
| TAB Champions Stakes Day, Saturday, 8 November 2025 | The Melbourne Cup Carnival concludes with TAB Champions Stakes Day, featuring Victoria’s premier 1600m event, the Group 1 Stakes. TAB Champions Stakes Day is the fastest growing race day for the four day carnival with crowds topping 80,000 in recent years. It is also recognised as the carnival’s family day, with the focus on family fun and an abundance of free activities available for children. |

On Derby Day and Cup Day, packages include return luxury coach transfers from two central Melbourne hotels directly to Flemington Racecourse. Coaches stop inside the racecourse, a short walk to the grandstands and hospitality areas.
On Oaks Day and Stakes Day, we recommend using train services to Flemington. Alternatively, private transfers, water taxis or helicopter transfers from Southbank can be arranged on request.

No, you do not need a separate general admission ticket. Your grandstand ticket includes racecourse entry, and your hospitality ticket also grants racecourse access. However, each ticket type provides access to specific areas on race days, so your experience will depend on the ticket category you have.
The Birdcage is an exclusive, invite-only area featuring partner hospitality suites, and hospitality tickets are generally not available for public or individual sale. However, for groups or corporate clients, we may be able to assist depending on availability.
