Our Millthorpe Tour offers guests a door-to-door experience from Sydney Airport for the mighty Bathurst 1000.

Sit back and relax from the AAA-rated Millthorpe Motel, located in the charming town of Millthorpe just 30-minutes from Bathurst.

Start your Bathurst 1000 long weekend with transport from Sydney Airport to Millthorpe via the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains to take in the scenic view, before a quick shopping stop at Woolworths Bathurst. Then it’s onto the charming town of Millthorpe where the motel is the heart of the village.

Millthorpe is located within the rich pastoral hills of the Orange region, amongst farmland and wine-growing tablelands. The beautiful heritage-listed village is home to a Chef-hatted restaurant, two pubs, the Slow Wine Co, two fabulous cafes, a supermarket, art galleries, quaint cottages and offers a quiet rural atmosphere.

Over the next four nights, enjoy staying with a small group and Tour Manager at Millthorpe Motel with daily coach transfers in the morning/evening to and from Mount Panorama Circuit, just 30-minutes away. Enjoy the racing action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with your included 3-Day General Admission ticket and get a glimpse into the workings of the pits with a 3-Day Paddock Pass. Enhance your experience with an upgrade to a 3-Day Grandstand to enjoy a reserved seat or treat yourself to a Hospitality suite for 2 or 3-days with numerous benefits including; gourmet food, premium beverages, souvenirs, entertainment and the best viewing.

After enjoying your race weekend, the trip ends on Monday morning with a transfer back to Sydney Airport via Bathurst for your flight home. Alternatively we can add a Sydney stay for you to enjoy a few extra nights to take in Sydney’s many attractions (if adding your Sydney stay with us, the coach will drop you at the CBD hotel).

  • Transfers and flight recommendations

    If booking your own flights and utilising the transfers to/from Sydney Airport, we recommend scheduling your flights as follows:

    Thu 10 Oct — arrive before 11:00 am

    Mon 14 Oct — depart after 14:00 (domestic) or 15:30 (international)

    If you are bringing your own car or planning on renting a car, the Sydney Airport transfers can be removed for a discount of $119 per person.

    We can arrange a Sydney stay package for a few nights pre/post to give you a few days of sightseeing and to allow for easy arrival/departure. This is particularly useful if you are flying from Perth or New Zealand.

    The transfer will stop at Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains for around 15-20 minutes, which is a gorgeous scenic viewpoint and rest stop on the way to Bathurst and will stop at Woolworths Bathurst to stock up on supplies for the next few days. Or there is an IGA Express supermarket in Millthorpe next door to the motel.

  • Ticket upgrades (grandstands and hospitality)

    All packages come with a 3-Day General Admission ticket and 3-Day Paddock Passes. From here you can upgrade to a reserved 3-Day Grandstand or to a hospitality suite for 2 or 3 days.

    The default currency for this event is AUD ($).

    Payments

    Your deposit is 25% to confirm your booking (excluding upgrades or extras).

    Your balance of 75% is due by 10 July 2024 (bookings made after this date will require full payment to confirm, unless otherwise agreed in writing).

    If your booking includes extra travel services or ticket upgrades different payment terms may apply (to be confirmed on quoting).

    Invoices can be paid in AUD, GBP, USD, EUR or NZD. If you elect to pay your invoice in a different currency to the event default currency, your invoice will be converted at the daily mid-market rate.
