Children aged five and over need their own ticketed seat; children under five are not permitted on the show courts.
Wimbledon tickets are not sold on general public sale: reserved seats are sold via public ballot and Grounds Passes are sold on the day through The Queue. Debenture seats are resold by their holders, so prices are set by the market, by court and by day. They rise through the second week, and the Gentlemen’s Singles Final is the most expensive day of the tournament. A debenture is a seat issued by the All England Lawn Tennis Club to its debenture holders, and debenture tickets are the official ticket type that can be legally resold. Each one is a reserved seat in the debenture rows of Centre Court or No.1 Court for the day, and it covers the court, not a particular match or player. You enter at Gate 4 on Church Road, pass the Guest Arrival Hub, and collect a wristband that opens the debenture bars and restaurants all day; food and drink are paid for as you go. The bars and casual restaurants are walk-in; fine dining needs a reservation, which our team will request where the debenture holder can request bookings, with pre-booking opening in March. Your ticket is in the Wimbledon App, with a QR code active from 7:00am on the day.
Centre Court has a retractable roof, the Royal Box and the biggest matches of each day. Outside the ballot, a Centre Court debenture seat is the way to guarantee a place, in rows A to N. It is the standard seat in our Ladies Final and Men’s Final packages, and an upgrade on our Opening Days, First Weekend, Quarter-Finals and London Explorer packages, subject to availability.
The Ladies’ Singles Final and Gentlemen’s Doubles Final are on Saturday 10 July 2027, and the Gentlemen’s Singles Final and Ladies’ Doubles Final on Sunday 11 July, all on Centre Court. Both days sell early. No.1 Court is the entry seat to be there and take in Wimbledon: a full day of top-seeded singles, the debenture areas, and the Grounds to explore between matches. Centre Court is for the fan who couldn’t go home without seeing the main arena, so upgrade if that is you. For value, choose the first week, when every seed is still in the draw; save the second week and the finals for when the budget allows. One thing first-timers get wrong: don’t book for a player. The order of play is set the evening before, and your ticket guarantees the court and the seat, not the match.

The Grounds and debenture areas open at 10:00am. Play starts at 11:00am on the outside courts, 1:00pm on No.1 Court and 1:30pm on Centre Court; on finals weekend No.1 Court starts at 11:00am and Centre Court at 1:00pm. The order of play is published on wimbledon.com the evening before, and matches may move between courts at AELTC’s discretion.
The All England Lawn Tennis Club is on Church Road in Wimbledon, south-west London. Centre Court and No.1 Court both have retractable roofs, so play there continues in rain; the outside courts are open air. The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum at Gate 4 is free for ticket holders during The Championships.

Heathrow is London’s main international airport, with flights from every major hub; Eurostar connects from Paris, and trains run from across the UK. Arrive at least a day before your first day at Wimbledon. Every package can be customised with extra nights, and we can build a Tailor-Made trip around your dates.
Every package includes a Visitor Oyster Card for the Underground. Take the District line to Southfields, then walk 15 minutes to the Grounds; or travel to Wimbledon station on the District line or South Western Railway, a 20-minute walk or a short ride on the Championships shuttle bus (£4.00 single, £6.50 return in 2026). After play, leave by Gate 1 for Southfields and central London, or Gate 12 for the shuttle bus to Wimbledon station. Shared taxis with fixed fares run from both stations. Ride-share cars can’t pass the Church Road closure and use the pick-up points on Marryat Road and Wimbledon Park Road.
