  • Introduction

The cricketing world eagerly anticipates the clash of titans as India prepares to tour Australia for the NRMA Men’s Test Series later this year.

This showdown between two powerhouses of the game promises to be a thrilling contest, continuing the storied rivalry between these cricketing nations.

Australia will be seeking revenge for their narrow loss to India in the Super Eight round of the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and protect their formidable record at home. The likes of Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc will be key to their campaign. India, on the other hand, aims to replicate their historic series win from 2018-19. They’ll rely on the experience of Virat Kohli and the skill of young talents like Shubman Gill.

The series will likely feature intense battles between bat and ball, with both teams boasting world-class pace attacks and skilled batsmen. As holders of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India faces the challenge of defending their title in Australian conditions.

Cricket fans can expect high-quality Test cricket, with the potential for memorable performances and nail-biting finishes. The series also offers a wonderful travel opportunity to head interstate (or to Australia) to experience a new city and embrace the atmosphere and energy of summer.

Events Travel is proud to be appointed as an Licensed Travel Operator for the 2024-25 International Summer of Cricket and has a range of official travel packages on offer. Packages include guaranteed tickets to all five Tests in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. All packages come with hand-picked value or luxury accommodation and tickets to either the first two days or all four days of each Test. Extra travel services are available including flights, extra nights, transport, sightseeing and travel insurance.

We’ve been helping fans enjoy cricket worldwide for over 30 years and look forward to helping you make your Test series dreams a reality this year!
