One-way Catch-a-Coach trips are available to and from Melbourne (Southern Cross Station) and Phillip Island.
Coaches will depart Southern Cross Station for Phillip Island between the following times:

All Catch-a-Coach services drop off and pick up at Gate 3 on Gap Road at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, with the following exceptions:

The last coach departs the circuit when the gates close. Please leave enough time to get to the Gate 3 coach stop before the gates close.

October in Melbourne ushers in spring, with average daytime temperatures around 17°C to 22°C (63°F to 72°F) and nighttime lows around 9°C to 13°C (48°F to 55°F). This time of year is characterised by a mix of rain and sunshine, with the weather gradually warming as the month progresses. At Phillip Island, and particularly the circuit, it can be beautiful, but it can also be windy and rainy, adding to the challenge for riders. We recommend dressing for all seasons.
The Australian MotoGP 2025 will take place from Friday, 17 October to Sunday, 19 October 2025. The three-day event includes practice sessions and multiple races.
The Australian MotoGP 2025 will be held at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, about 90 minutes south of Melbourne. The circuit has hosted the race since 1997.
