  • Introduction

The British and Irish Lions Tour is a quadrennial rugby union event that sees a team of players from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales come together to tour a rugby-playing nation in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Lions Tour has a rich history, dating back to the early 1900s, and is considered one of the most prestigious events in rugby union. The Lions play against some of the strongest national sides in the world, including Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The Tour typically spans several weeks and includes warm-up matches before the Lions face off against the host nation’s national team in a series of Test matches. The Lions Tour is renowned for its intense physicality, high-stakes competition, and passionate fan base, making it an unforgettable experience for both players and spectators alike.

The 2025 Lions Tour will be held in Australia with nine matches including three Tests against the Wallabies from June to August 2025.

The last Lions Tour was a success for the visitors back in 2013, where they won the series 2-1 led by head coach Warren Gatland and captain Sam Warburton. The Tour began with a series of warm-up matches against provincial teams in Australia, which the Lions won convincingly. The First Test against Australia was a hard-fought battle, with the Lions edging out the Wallabies 23-21 thanks to a late penalty from Leigh Halfpenny. In the Second Test, the Lions dominated from start to finish, with tries from Jonathan Sexton and George North securing a narrow 16-15 win. The Third Test was a triumph for the visitors who won 41-16, taking their first series win since 1997.

The Lions Tour will produce some epic rugby, plus a whole lot of fun for spectators no matter their jersey colour.

Very convenient. Book everything together.
